It’s Here: 2010 Presidents Day Festivities!

SealIt was only only 4 years ago that three men asked themselves “what does one do to celebrate Presidents Day?”  Since that time, we’ve found others share both our question and more importantly our answer.

As our 2010 Press Release indicates, this year we have once again increased the number of presidents portrayed.  14 Society members will put on the presidential pants February 15, 2010.  For a listing of all the presidents, refer to the “Society Members” link above.

Many exciting elements have also been added to our itinerary and logistics.  As a prior article indicated, this year the presidents will be gallantly ushered about Denver in their very own limo-bus, complete with bunting and our Society’s seal on the side.  Thanks to our friends at Colorado Capitol Watch we have been able to keep costs low and patriotism high.  In addition to the new transportation, we’ll also be formalizing our walk up the 16th Street Mall this year.  The newly titled “Presidential Walk of Honor” will take place at approximately 10:30am when all 14 presidents will greet and bestow patriotic tidings to the citizens of Denver using the mall.

The Presidents Day Society encourages all citizens to meet up with us and share a pint while reflecting on our great country and the leaders who have guided it.  To that end, an approximate schedule of our stops is listed below.

Happy Presidents Day!
